We are seeking an experienced
Agile Leaderto lead, coach, and operate high-performing teams in the DevOps, Delivery & Operations domain.
The Agile Leader ensures teams embody Agile values and principles, following frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc., to self-organize and deliver value. As a servant leader, they promote the Agile mindset through guidance, coaching, education, and removal of impediments. Senior Agile Leaders demonstrate deep understanding of Agile delivery, product knowledge, and influence across multiple teams.
This role focuses on building and coaching high-performing Agile teams, fostering continuous improvement in team dynamics and performance through senior-level Agile leadership skills.
Expectations as an Agile LeaderIdentify and manage risks stemming from business activities and the role.Ensure risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures.Facilitate major Agile ceremonies across multiple teams; coach teams and Product Owners to support Agile transformation.Promote continuous improvement, facilitate communication, manage dependencies, remove impediments, and establish Agile standards.Support resolution of systemic impediments within the organization.Educate and support Product Owners and Managers in backlog refinement and decision-making.Ensure effective communication within and across teams and programs; facilitate meetings and maintain transparency through progress tools and reports.Manage risks, issues, and dependencies; ensure compliance with policies.Align release management practices with enterprise standards and leverage change routines.Serve as Agile SME to teams, departments, and management.Participate in Scrum Master communities of practice and mentor other Scrum Masters.For technical efforts: understand and guide on release-when-ready, test-driven development, continuous integration, and demo practices.Engage in community discussions across functional areas and Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and facilitate sessions on relevant topics.Minimum requirementsAt least 6 years of experience in process improvement, project management, software engineering, or requirements analysis, with 4+ years as a Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, or similar role in a lean or Scrum environment.Advanced knowledge of multiple Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, XP, Lean, SAFe, DevOps).One or more Agile certifications such as CSM, SSM, ACP, SPC, or SA.Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.Ability to travel to Siemens office regularly and occasionally internationally.Preferred experience3-5 years as a Release Train Engineer or leading scaled Agile in an enterprise setting.Advanced Agile certifications in SAFe are preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
