Role scope
As part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, be responsible for the industrial controlling activities acting as a business partner for internal and Group stakeholders. Contribute to accelerating the development and automatization of this area, enhancing the level of analysis aiming to promptly identify risks and opportunities. Play an active role on the finance digital transformation roadmap of the company.
Main Activities
* Run a monthly calculation and analysis of the manufacturing variance understanding its main drivers.
* Elaborate yearly the standard costs and re-assess them throughout the year during the forecast process.
* Be a proactive business partner with internal (operations, procurement, administration, HR, Marketing) and Group stakeholders.
* Review the internal processes to find efficiencies and make them faster.
* Get a deep understanding of the manufacturing module within the ERP and become proficient in the main IT tools used by the Company.
* Be a key player to accelerate the digitalization and automatization of the industrial controlling, contributing to the roll-out of new reporting tools.
* Enhance the level of analysis and its presentation to local management.
* Be responsible for and manage one person who will provide support on these activities.
* Participate to internal and group projects.
* Be a positive and active player in the FP&A team.
Requirements & Skills
* Master’s degree in Economics
* 4-6 years experience in financial controlling, consulting or audit
* Previous experience in industrial controlling for a multinational company will be considered a strong plus, as well as ERP migration experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Familiar with financial analysis
* Proficient in Excel and quick learner of IT tools
* Team player, fast learner and proactive
* Excellent knowledge of English and Italian both spoken and written
* Experience in people management (previous team management will be considered a plus)
