As Acquera Yachting continues to grow, we're on the lookout for a highly motivated candidate to take on the role of IT Support Technician at our Venice office.
Role:
The IT Support Technician is meant to ensure the operation of the IT infrastructure through the use of resources in order to improve the activities of the group and to preserve its continuity. It analyses and offers hardware and software solution based on the needs of the various offices and solutions available on the market, trying as such as possible to find uniform solutions, also with a view to cost optimization with the aim of making the most immediate, clear and usable of the system.
Responsibilities:
* First-level technical support for PCs, printers, mobile devices and peripherals
* Remote technical support via dedicated RDP tools
* Software installation, configuration and updating, management of updates and security patches
* Ticketing management and ability to document operating procedures (FAQ)
* Onboarding/offboarding activities, including provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts and devices
* Diagnosing and repairing faults
* Resolving network issues
* Speaking to customers to quickly get to the root of their problem
* Participating in IT infrastructure projects
1. Requirements:
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the first level helpdesk
* Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and installation
* Knowledge and management of the main Microsoft/iOS/Linux operating systems
* Basic skills in Active Directory (account creation, groups, password reset, GPO)
* Fundamentals of networking (DNS, DHCP, network sharing)
* Proficiency in English; spoken and written
* Initiative and proactive approach
* Problem-solving skills
* Strong time flexibility
