This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our port and terminal infrastructure by contributing to the development, procurement, and delivery of large-scale civil and marine infrastructure projects. /ppYou will play a key role in translating commercial and operational needs into technical specifications, leading the development of Employer’s Requirements, and supporting the execution of infrastructure projects globally. /ppReporting to Head of Global Asset Engineering and Design, position will be based preferably in The Hague, or Barcelona as second choice. (Expected global travel is around 20%.) /ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliProvide expert input into new terminal construction and expansion projects. /liliDevelop and maintain Standard Employer’s Requirements (SER) for civil works. /liliTranslate operational and commercial needs into technical specifications and design requirements. /liliConduct feasibility studies and master planning for terminal infrastructure. /liliSupport procurement processes by preparing RFP documentation and evaluating supplier proposals. /liliLead or support design reviews and ensure alignment with project goals. /liliAct as a functional lead for Civil Managers on dedicated projects. /liliCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure successful project delivery. /liliServe as a subject matter expert for marine and civil infrastructure across global terminals. /li /ulpExperience /ppbQualifications Experience /b /pulliMinimum 10 years in civil / marine engineering, with a strong background in large infrastructure projects. /liliProven experience in port or container terminal environments is highly desirable. /liliDemonstrated ability to work across regions and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects. /liliStrong understanding of port equipment and its interface with infrastructure. /liliExperience in risk assessment and mitigation in challenging environments. /li /ulpbEducation /b /pulliMSc or BSc in Civil or Marine Engineering. /li /ulpbSkills /b /pulliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliExcellent communication and collaboration abilities in multicultural settings. /liliAbility to define concepts and translate them into actionable plans and budgets. /liliHigh attention to detail, quality, and safety. /liliFluent in English (written and spoken) at a business level. /liliSelf-motivated, results-driven, and disciplined. /li /ulpMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
