TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a System Safety Engineer.
The resource will be involved in the analysis and design of complex safety-critical systems in the defense domain, working on system and system-of-systems architectures. The role includes activities related to electronic design aspects, physical behavior analysis and modeling of integrated computing architectures interacting with communication and weapon delivery systems deployed on air, land and naval platforms.
The position involves system-level safety requirements analysis, support to risk mitigation, preparation of Safety and RAMT (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Testability) documentation, and contribution to System Engineering activities in compliance with international standards (ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-178, DO-254, IEC 61508).
Interaction with subcontractors and suppliers is required to ensure correct implementation of safety requirements and compliant technical documentation.
Main responsibilities:
* Support system-level analysis of complex safety-critical architectures
* Contribute to the definition and assessment of system safety requirements
* Analyze system-of-systems interactions across electronic, communication and launch domains
* Evaluate multidisciplinary technical studies (electronic, mechanical, thermal, structural)
* Support integration and consistency of system architectures across air, land and naval platforms
* Interface with suppliers and subcontractors for technical alignment and documentation review
* Contribute to the preparation of Safety and System Engineering deliverables
* Ensure traceability between system requirements, architecture and safety constraints
Required technical skills:
* System Safety analysis (SAE ARP4754, ARP4761)
* Safety requirements management
* RAMT analysis
* Knowledge of DO-178 and DO-254
* Fundamentals of IEC 61508
* Systems Engineering processes (ISO/IEC 15288, IEEE 1220, EIA-632)
* Safety-critical architecture design
* Risk assessment and mitigation techniques
* Basic knowledge of reliability tools (e.g. Reliability Workbench)
* Technical documentation writing (Italian/English)

* Interpretation of electromechanical, thermal and structural analyses

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
