The Role: The Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) is an intensive two-year program for individuals passionate about technology, driven for technical excellence, and eager to contribute to Xylem's mission to solve global resource challenges. The program aims to accelerate professional growth through technical and leadership training, coupled with business-critical assignments. If you love engineering and seek a career in this field, this program is ideal for you.
The program includes three rotational assignments aligned with real business needs, Continuous Improvement training, formal presentations to senior leadership, and leadership development activities. These rotations provide broad exposure across various domains within Xylem, such as Engineering, Innovation, Sustainability, Data Science, Software Engineering, Product Management, and Project Management, leading to successful placement after completion.
Core Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute tasks within assigned rotations.
* Achieve objectives on time and within budget while maintaining quality and accuracy.
* Apply engineering fundamentals effectively in a business context.
* Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Propose new analyses, techniques, and methodologies where applicable.
* Complete all program training modules, including continuous improvement training.
* Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
* GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
* Strong commitment to a career in technology and engineering.
* Analytical problem-solving skills.
* Ability to lead and collaborate within teams.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Prior internship, co-op, or research experience.
* Proficiency in both English and Italian is MANDATORY.
Timeline:
* The 2025 ELDP cohort begins in July 2025.
