RangersBattistolli is recruiting a Security Manager (Campus Security Manager – CSM) to oversee physical security operations across data center sites in the Milan area. The role coordinates operational teams and security processes within complex infrastructure environments.
Role Description
The Campus Security Manager (CSM) is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of physical security services across one or more critical infrastructure data centers within a defined geographic area.
The role leads site security teams and operational staff, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and high service standards. The CSM plays a key role in developing staff capabilities, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company objectives.
Reporting directly to the Regional Security Manager, the CSM works closely with Data Center Security and Operations management to ensure a secure, resilient, performance-driven environment protecting people, assets, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership across multi-site physical security programs.
* Ensure consistent implementation of security standards, policies, and procedures in 24/7 critical infrastructure environments.
* Lead workforce planning activities, including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, succession planning, and performance management.
* Promote an organizational culture based on safety, accountability, professionalism, and respect.
* Implement and monitor workplace safety programs aiming at zero incidents.
* Track and optimize KPIs, service levels, and compliance metrics.
* Maintain continuous audit readiness and successfully pass internal and external audits.Conduct periodic business reviews with clients and corporate stakeholders, proactively managing risks and operational issues.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
* Coordinate incident and emergency management with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure effective use of security technologies, including CCTV, access control systems, and incident management platforms.
Requisiti
Requirements & Experience
Mandatory Requirements
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in the security industry.
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in leadership or management roles within multi-site or operationally complex environments.
* Associate degree (or equivalent) in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
* Legal eligibility to work in the country of employment.
* Valid driving license (or ability to obtain one).
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in data center or critical infrastructure environments.
* Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
* Industry professional certifications.
* Working knowledge of integrated security systems and video surveillance technologies.
* Strategic vision combined with strong operational execution.
* Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
* Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize within dynamic and evolving environments.
* Solid understanding of compliance, risk management, and audit processes.
Additional Requirements
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 10% or as required).
* Availability to respond outside standard working hours in case of emergencies or critical events.
* Ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
