By hiring the best and brightest minds—and that’s why we want you! /p h3What will you work on? /h3 pReporting to the Senior Finance Manager, South Europe, the Finance Manager is responsible for accurate and timely Financial Accounting, Reporting, Statutory Control Compliance along with managing the statutory and accounting requirements for corporate headquarters reporting for European entities as required. The candidate will be a key contributor to the forecast planning processes, working with the European business unit(s) to enable an understanding of local financial performance and developing consistent, concise forecasts and plans. /p h3How will you create impact? /h3 ul liBusiness partnering, supporting Italian and Greek management teams as required in understanding their financial data and performance, including the preparation of ad hoc reports. /li liUltimate responsibility for financial control reporting on a day-to-day basis. /li liEnsure that the financial reporting function prepares and delivers, in accordance with Group Reporting timelines and high-quality standards, IFRS based financial reporting to the Company’s parent. /li liEnsure the accuracy and integrity of the financial and management reporting; /li liManage reporting of financial information to Corporate Headquarters, including actuals/budget/forecast submission and reporting of performance against objectives. /li liPreparation of the bi-weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts for the Italian markets, including variance analyses to previous submissions. /li liReview and certify account reconciliations via the Blackline tool. /li liReview inter-company reconciliations. /li liEnsures cost effectiveness and adherence to cost budgets across the company. /li liManage the accounting process for various transactions. /li liLiaise with external tax advisors to prepare the VAT, WHT and CIT returns. /li liLiaise with Shared Services in Bratislava and corporate functions of Accounting Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Internal Controls Audit, IT, and Indirect Procurement. /li liPreparation of Statutory Accounts and compliance with local GAAP. /li liDriving continuous improvement and step changes in processes to deliver a more efficient and effective financial reporting and analysis. /li liMaintain compliance with company process, controls and procedures to ensure organizational risks are minimized. /li liLead, motivate and develop direct reports as required. /li liEnsure compliance with applicable local regulatory laws for financial and tax reporting, incl.
