Ph3Job Summary /h3 pbStormind Games is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial department and ensure the studio’s economic and financial stability. /b /p pThe role is based in Sicily, with availability for return. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liOptimize and strengthen the company’s financial planning and control, ensuring business sustainability and scalability. /li liCoordinate and supervise all administration, finance, and control functions, managing both internal teams and external consultants. /li liDevelop and maintain forecasting models and PL analyses for individual projects and IPs. /li liLead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensure the correct application of IFRS principles, analyzing profitability by project or IP. /li liOversee cash flow management in project-based context, with milestone-driven revenues or multiple income streams (publishing, licensing, co-development, work-for-hire). /li liBuild and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors and financial partners. /li liSupport leadership in investment decisions, MA activities, and strategic development initiatives. /li liSupervise access to and management of tax incentives and tax credit related to culture, media, and research. /li liEnsure clear, timely, and accurate reporting to investors and key stakeholders. /li liCollaborate closely with department heads to provide financial visibility across projects and guide data-driven operational decisions. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMinimum 10 years of experience in senior roles within administration, finance, and control. /li liBackground in tech, software-driven, or media/digital entertainment industries with project-based business models. /li liExperience in MA, fundraising, and managing relationships with investment funds. /li liKnowledge of IP project financing, tax credits, capitalization of development costs, and deferred revenues. /li liAdvanced expertise in management accounting, consolidated statements, and IFRS. /li liExcellent command of ERP systems, Power BI, advanced Excel, and financial analytics platforms. /li liFluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to interact effectively with international partners. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Economics, Finance, or Management Engineering. /li liBackground in a Big Four firm (audit or advisory) or experience as CFO in an internationalized tech SME. /li liExperience in developing financial forecasting models and investor reporting. /li liDeep understanding of creative IP valuation and the economic structures of complex productions (film, video games, software). /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liStrategic vision and ability to translate it into concrete financial processes. /li liStrong focus on scalability, profitability, and long-term sustainability. /li liSkilled in managing relationships with stakeholders, investors, and institutional partners. /li liData-driven decision-making combined with sensitivity to creative and production contexts. /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liAuthoritative yet collaborative leadership style. /li liHands-on, results-oriented mindset. /li liClear, direct, and credible communication skills. /li liEntrepreneurial spirit with a long-term, strategic outlook. /li liFlexibility and ability to manage complexity in growing environments. /li /ul pSubmit your resume and a short cover letter in English to join Stormind Games. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
