Long term 5 year project, initial contract 6-12 months Overview: Our client, a leader in AWS Cloud services, is seeking a
Junior or Senior Cloud Engineer
to join their Infrastructure team, supporting an enterprise-level client in the
Energy & Utilities
sector. The role will involve managing and optimizing
AWS Cloud infrastructure, including
incident management ,
change management ,
cloud security, and
backup solutions. You will contribute to
cloud-native application development ,
migration
of data centers to the cloud, and leveraging
Machine Learning
and
AI
capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Provide
cloud adoption consultancy
and guide customers through their
migration journey
to
AWS Cloud. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, focusing on
observability ,
incident management ,
change management, and
cloud security. Develop and maintain
cloud-native applications
that are optimized for AWS services. Leverage
Infrastructure as Code
technologies like
CloudFormation ,
Terraform, and
CDK
for seamless cloud provisioning. Automate and optimize infrastructure management using
scripting languages
such as
Python ,
Bash, and
PowerShell. Manage
containerized environments
using
Kubernetes
or other technologies. Technical Skills Required: Knowledge of
AWS Cloud, with
Solution Architect Professional Certification
(for Senior role) highly preferred. Proficiency in
Linux
(RHEL) and
Windows Server. Experience with
Kubernetes ,
Terraform ,
CloudFormation, and
Ansible. Strong scripting skills in
Python ,
Bash, and
PowerShell. Nice to Have: Familiarity with
Big Data
technologies (e.g.,
Hadoop ) and
SAP
solutions (e.g.,
SAP HANA ). Soft Skills: Strong communication skills in
Italian
(native level), with proficiency in
English
a plus. Ability to manage complex activities and engage with clients effectively (Senior role). Seniority level
