Your responsibilities include, but are not limited toProduct DevelopmentAlways looking to ensure we have a stellar and competitive product line and that we constantly think of ways to bring new exciting product offerings to our guestsStay on top of all developments in your market to look for new opportunities, and ensure we are competitive. This will include networking, regular competitor analysis, and sales channel analysisWorking closely with our Head of Senior Site Relations to develop products around new opportunities at major attractions.Maintenance and constant improvement (or redevelopment) of current product line, staying on top of guest feedback and other department feedback ensuring quality adjusting procedures, product and operations strategy as neededProduct Ownership & PerformanceProduct Auditing; ensuring what we have opened for sale is available as planned on all platformsResponsible for submitting low-season and high season schedules deciding optimal run times and frequency - constantly monitor performance and adjust according to pacingWorking with marketing resources / sales to develop text, images and video content that accurately reflects our tours.Procedures, Documents : Create, update and maintain all relevant product, manuals, tour scripts, site and ops documentation & agreements and provide trainings where neededEnsuring there are clear procedures for disruptions, alternative itineraries, pvt tour options, custom toursEnsuring procedures and workflows are clear around major disruptions, and if non-existent, create new ones, follow up on success and learnings from these, implement improvementsMaintain a constant view of tour and market pacing, ensuring we have resources in place to match demandResponsible for tour performance; working closely with finance, Tour Performance & Operations teams on data validation, processes for supplier cost reconciliation and invoicing managementCollaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze dataFulfilment Processes & OperationsPurchasing : Drive strategy on optimal times, alternative times, ensure we have enough resources, work with various teams ensuring best outcome and data-driven decision makingCreate and improve operations processes and workflows to increase efficiencies, ensure all departments have what they need to run the products smoothlyWorkflow support, escalations for emergencies and coverage for in-destination staff’s responsibilities when neededRequirementsMinimum 2 years experience in Venice tourism (operations or product development / management).Passion and comprehensive knowledge of Italian history, culture, and tourism.Fluency in Italian and English.Proactive and creative thinking with strong problem-solving skills.Highly organized with acute attention to detail and exceptional time management.Ability to build strong cross-departmental relationships, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.Proficiency in reporting, distilling complex information into clear, actionable insights.Strong proficiency in working with numbers, analytics tools, and data visualization.Track record of effective research skills for informed strategic decision-making.Familiarity with Microsoft suite, Excel, Asana, Slack desired.
Pay : €40,000.00 - €45,000.00 per year
