We are looking for a Trade Marketing Intern to join our Trade Marketing function within the Home and Personal Care Business Unit, Home Care division, based in Milan.
How you make the difference
Your role will consist in analyzing market trends and brand as well as competitor performance to develop growth plans across the various distribution channels within the laundry category. You will assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of innovation, collaborating with the customer marketing team and providing valuable insights and operational support. You will help optimize product positioning, drive sales growth, and strengthen relationships with retail partners.
How your agenda looks like:
Sell-out and Sell-in Analysis: You will monitor the laundry market and category according to key KPIs and prepare reports and/or presentations to support category development plans, as well as identify insights, risks, and opportunities relevant to achieving business results.
Category Support: You will support the identification, development, and execution of growth strategies for the reference category within the most promising channels.
Performance Tracking : You will monitor innovation and trade marketing activities based on quantitative KPIs defined against budget targets (WD, WDP, phasing, volumes, etc.) and contribute to building recovery or performance-maximization actions.
Portfolio Optimization: You will support and monitor the implementation of growth strategies aimed at portfolio optimization, in collaboration with the customer marketing team
Your team:
You will directly report to the Senior Category Manager Laundry
What makes you a great fit:
Education: Bachelor’s degree followed by a Master’s degree in Economics, Marketing, or a related field with an interest in pursuing a growth path in Marketing & Sales
Technical Skills: proficiency in the Office suite, especially Excel.
Strong analytical, communication & digital marketing skills, as well as leadership skills and experience with global market dynamics, customer segmentation and cultural considerations in marketing.
Local Language: proficiency in Italian and English is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
