Department Description
Atradius is a leading European Surety provider, fully active in 13 countries.
Atradius Surety works with different industries and maintains relationship with a large range of companies by providing tailored services to customers who need niche products, online services and know-how.
We are now looking for a Controller to join our Italian organisation and contribute to Surety Controlling for our business.
Job Description
As a Controller, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, performance monitoring, and business decision-making within the Surety organization.
You will work closely with local and Group stakeholders, providing high‑quality analysis and reliable financial insights.
In this position your key responsibilities will be carried out primarily within the Control Team:
Support the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and periodic performance reports.
Analyse business results (P&L;, KPIs, cost development) and provide clear explanations of variances.
Ensure accurate and timely financial data, collaborating with other functions.
Provide ad‑hoc analysis and support to senior management.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Controlling function.
What qualification should you have? The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
Required qualifications:
Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related fields.
5 years of experience in Controlling, Audit, or similar roles (insurance/financial sector is a plus).
Strong analytical mindset and excellent numerical skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point and Hyperion; knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools is an asset.
Other qualifications:
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders.
Fluent in English and Italian mother tongue.
Accurate, reliable, proactive, and able to work under pressure to respect the tight deadlines.
