Ph3Overview /h3pFor the Central Team of Generali Global Corporate Commercial (GCC), we are looking for a Legal Specialist to join our Legal Department. You will report directly to the GCC General Counsel, supporting the management and mitigation of legal and regulatory risks, providing legal advice, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and Generali Group Policies and procedures. This role involves coordinating with local legal teams, assisting with strategic initiatives, and maintaining effective communication channels to ensure seamless legal support across the organization. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliLegal Advisory: Provide legal advice and consultancy services to GCC on a wide range of matters, including insurance, reinsurance and retrocession agreements, IT contracts, outsourcing agreements and other related areas, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations /liliCollaborate with local legal teams involved in providing support to GCC at local level /liliCollaborate with internal stakeholders, external advisors and notaries for corporate filings and other formalities /liliLegal and Regulatory Risk Management: Assist in identifying potential legal and regulatory risks that could impact GCC operations; provide practical advice on managing and mitigating such risks on a day-by-day basis /liliMonitor and analyze legal and regulatory developments, with a specific focus on insurance and reinsurance matters /liliFacilitate training and development programs to enhance the legal knowledge of the GCC population /liliContract Management: Draft, review and negotiate complex contracts in both Italian and English, including, but not limited to: NDA, PS, ToU, Sponsorship Agreements, MSA, SOW, reinsurance and retrocession agreements /liliContribute to the development, updating and standardization of legal documents, contracts, guidelines and best practices /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliMaster's degree in Law and licensed to practice law in Italy or another EU jurisdiction /liliMinimum of 4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in large structured law firms, preferably in insurance, litigation, or corporate legal practice, or in-house within the insurance or financial services industry /liliExcellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken) with a preference for candidates who are also fluent in at least one other language /liliStrong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks, with attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills /liliExcellent communication skills, with a strong team-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to innovation and simplification /liliAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement /liliStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal technology tools and platforms /liliExperience with legal prompting and innovative legal technologies is considered a plus /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
