As a Reservations Officer, you will support the Reservation Manager in driving the performance of the reservations team on property.
You will ensure adherence to all SOPs.
You will assist in maintaining and improving reservations operations to ensure high accuracy in guest reservations, maximize revenue opportunities, and enhance guest and team member satisfaction.
Your responsibilities include monitoring daily arrivals and guest requests, managing inventory such as allotments, group blocks, and rate codes across systems.
You will also support the Revenue Manager in increasing sales within the property and optimizing the use of distribution channels, including IBE, GDS, Tour Operators, Small Luxury Hotels, and Regional and Corporate Sales Offices.
Additionally, you will assist in managing events, specifically:
* Managing group and event bookings
* Maintaining guest relationships from event confirmation to post-event feedback
* Supporting site inspections with the Reservation and Event Managers
* Contributing to event success, ensuring guest satisfaction and well-being
* Overseeing event-related administrative activities, including billing
* Organizing event logistics and coordinating departments such as Front Office and F&B
Managing internal digital communication
Qualifications:
* Experience in a similar role
* Familiarity with hotel operations, technology, and distribution channels
* Understanding of regional and local market dynamics, competitors, and destination events
