Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Service Engineer reports to the NAS Service Architect.
He/she cooperates with Management, Engineering, Maintenance, Obsolescence Management, Supply and Training functions as well as within the wider Services team.
Leads and is responsible to deliver Logistic Support Analysis and engineering support for Service contracts, bids and ad-hoc work.
DUTIES
Specifically, the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Service Engineer:
• Identifies and defines the solution to meet the Customers requirements.
• Supports the design, costing and development of products and solutions:
o supports the Service Architect
o coordinates and delivers the ILS activities
o coordinates and delivers services costing and compliance matrixes.
o Participates to the definition of the Support Solution, in cooperation with Service Architect, Bid Managers, Obsolescence manager and Engineering Managers.
o is accountable to deliver service bulletins
• Cooperates with Obsolescence Management
o managing, planning and tracking obsolete parts spares and stock in order to fulfill and guarantee Customer support and repairs during time
o managing dedicated Obsolescence Reports to Customers
o tracking and monitoring, in coordination with Bids, obsolete sub-systems
products
• Considers the evolutions (design, upgrade, obsolescence for example), field feedback (KPI of In-Service Support activities) in his/her daily work.
• Performs Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Testability studies
o Defines the framework of the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and
Testability studies
o Issues the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Testability plan
o Validates the objectives of the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and
Testability studies
o Optimizes the conduct of the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and
Testability studies
• Delivers Logistic Support Analysis (LSA)
o Defines the Logistic Support Analysis framework
o Deploys Logistic Support Analysis
Optimizes the delivery of the Logistic Support Analysis
o Provides Logistic Support Analysis
REQUIREMENTS
• Has significant experience in at least one engineering domain, with knowledge of associated and contributory domains.
• Has good working experiences in preferably more than two phases of the lifecycle with sufficient experience of the total engineering lifecycle to enable a good understanding of adjacent lifecycle phases and through life engineering issues:
o Logistic Support Analysis
o Reliability, Maintainability and Testability Studies
o FMECAs (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis)
o Through-Life Cost and spares modeling
o Initial Provisioning
• Is experienced in supporting bids, producing bid cost estimates and compliances
• Has experience of technical and commercial contact with customers, partners and suppliers.
• Is able to create and take ownership of associated ILS deliverables; e.g. spares analysis, maintainability analysis etc. and all associated deliverables.
• Preferable experience in the air navigation sector

• Is Customer oriented
• Has Excellent written presentation and reporting writing skills.
• Is able to influence stakeholders
• Is Independent and creative in solving problems.
• Is fluent in English, spoken and written.
• knowledge of Italian, spoken and written, is appreciated.
• knowledge of Other languages is a plus.
• Is available to occasional travels worldwide.
