PNEXTCHEM, a company of the MAIRE group dedicated to Sustainable Technology Solutions, is seeking a dynamic and innovative EI/Automation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and reliability of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems through routine maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and optimization activities. /ppThe candidate will become part of NEXTCHEM’s Excellence Center in Montorio al Vomano (TE), having the opportunity to work on the first-of-its-kind industrial plant for the depolymerization of plastics, operating on a novel technology to fully enable the energy transition. /ppThe EI/Automation Technician is responsible for: /pulliPerforms straightforward maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment, following the guidelines of the Responsible. /liliCalibrates instruments to ensure accurate measurements and readings. /liliIdentifies and resolves failure modes in electrical and automation systems. /liliMaintains the Electrical Instrumentation Maintenance action list and spare parts inventory. /liliDrafts instrumentation setting procedures and shares them with the Plant Manager and Team. /liliPLC base knowledge and Control system troubleshooting. /liliStandard PLC Protocols Knowledge: Modbus TCP/IP, Profinet, etc. /liliExperience with HMI Control Panel. /liliPID and Electrical drawings Knowledge. /li /ulpPersonal Attributes: /pulliNice to have bachelor’s degree in technical subjects, /liliIt is a plus to have 3/6 years of experience in EI/Automation, /liliGood English speaker and writer, /liliStrong attention to details, /liliAdaptability, entrepreneurship and working with method, /liliAbility to work under pressure in an environment where priorities must be continually re-evaluated and adapted as possible. /li /ul
