With zero impacts to the environment and our people. /p pThe Regional HSE Manager EMEA will lead Environmental, Health Safety (EHS) activities, provide expertise onEHS within the EMEA region and to actively support the operational EHS team with all relevant guidance and technical advice required. /p pThey will drive, support, challenge and inform the wider management teams, to inspire and motivate them to attain higher levels of safety performance and compliance with relevant legislation. /p pThey need to review current and past performance to identify concerns / opportunities for improvement and to coach this approach into the departmental teams. /p pThey are required to work together with all department heads and regional leadership to reinforce a highly engaged and inclusive, environment and health safety culture. /p pThey actively support the Senior VP Supply Chain EMEA in the drive for high performance environment, health and safety across all EMEA locations, through the delivery of strategic goals and improvements, developed in line with the Global EHS strategy. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProactively engage with and influence the management and local EHS teams, to drive safety and occupational health improvements. /li liActively guide the local EHS teams to deliver a first class EHS service to their customers. /li liPlan and coordinate proactive Health and Safety support activities across the region, ensuring these align with and support local Safety Improvement Plans. /li liEnsure compliance with environmental, health and safety standards, policy and legislation across all distribution centres and warehouses within the region. /li liEnsure that Operations Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work are “suitable and sufficient” and kept up to date. /li liSupport the development of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification by ensuring the management systems are regularly reviewed and updated. /li liProvide via local EHS teams, an efficient day-to-day environmental, health and safety service giving practical, technical advice, guidance, and clarity to internal customers. /li liWork with local teams to implement all relevant Global EHS Standards and Policies. /li liProvide ongoing development of Environment, Health and Safety policies, procedures and guidance in line with statutory requirements and current best practice. /li liEnsure all monthly, quarterly, and statutory reporting requirements are met. /li liProvide regular performance updates to the Senior VP Supply Chain EMEA for EHS information from across the region.
