BIM Project Lead Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Project Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of complex, large-scale projects using BIM principles and deliverables.
About the Role
This dynamic role provides technical support to architects to inform their delivery of projects using design technology authoring tools. The BIM Lead works closely with project teams to identify project-specific needs and deliver data-driven design technology solutions accordingly.
* Taking responsibility for high-quality, well-structured BIM models, data, reports, documentation, and drawings that comply with industry standards.
* Ensuring adherence to established BIM workflows, standards, and procedures across projects, communicating them effectively to teams.
* Managing BIM project data sets, ensuring consistency, integrity, and technical excellence.
* Mentoring and upskilling team members, promoting best practices in design systems and engineering workflows.
* Developing and improving Business Execution Plans (BEPs).
* Supporting teams with complex and parametric BIM Family creation and scripting.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Four-plus years' experience working in an architectural design and project delivery environment, delivering complex, large-scale projects using BIM principles and deliverables.
* Proven ability to lead BIM teams on large-scale projects.
* Extensive experience using Revit and Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection.
* Knowledge of Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, V-Ray, Bluebeam.
* Experience with data-driven approaches and analytics.
* Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.
* Italian language skills, medium level but willing to learn quickly.
* Resilience to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritize duties and work effectively under pressure.
* Able to communicate complex technical strategies to various stakeholders.
* Self-motivated with an aptitude for autonomous work and continuous development.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology (or equivalent).
* Ability to obtain necessary work permits in Italy.
