Being the face of Shimano, you will ensure excellent business relationships, advise key retail accounts on market trends, and offer them opportunities to purchase Shimano Bike components, soft goods like shoes, jerseys, LAZER helmets, and more.
Together with your colleagues, you will handle sales opportunities in Italy within your region and become responsible for some of our biggest key accounts.
We seek a proactive self-starter driven by results, with a focus on customer satisfaction. You should treat your region as your own small business, with the discipline to chase targets and realize sales. Good analytical skills are essential for analyzing market data, and you must plan your time efficiently. Flexibility and adaptability are important due to regular travel. Passion for Shimano products will help you solve customer issues and maintain your commercial position.
The Responsibilities
* Track performance against targets and take corrective actions to meet goals.
* Create and share market insights based on visit reports, data analysis, and competitor research.
* Visit customers and build valued relationships with Shimano.
* Present products, provide product information, and offer proposals to current and potential customers.
* Support and participate in marketing initiatives.
* Proactively seek new opportunities to grow market share or increase sales.
* Create account and regional sales plans, including setting targets and KPIs.
Candidate Profile
* 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
* Experience with B2B sales.
* Excellent communication skills, able to adapt to different audiences and actively listen.
* Good command of English and Italian.
* Affinity with the bicycle industry and/or its products.
