Description
As a Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting a Hitachi Energy Enterprise Risk Manager inmanaging cross-organizational risk themes through-out its life cycle, coordinating with other risk functionsand improving organizational resilience.
This position reports to the Hitachi Energy Enterprise Risk Manager.
Your responsibilities:
* Analyzing & escalating changes in the external environment which could lead to vulnerabilities orcommercial opportunities based on the Hitachi Energy business & operational context.
* Regularly meet with functional/business risk owners to maintain risk awareness of emerging riskthemes and to stimulate and coordinate actions.
* Planning, organizing & facilitating risk assessment campaigns.
* Developing of the ERM application within a common GRC suite to ensure organizational alignmentand fit for purpose design.
* Supporting business/functional risk owners in developing high-level business case to kick-offrespective remediation/opportunity development projects
* Developing “conversant” level of expertise on various emerging topics to be able participate (and/orlead dialogues) on the mitigation response plan designs.
* Maintaining ERM related standard operating procedures, frameworks, and other instructions.
* Provide advice/guidance during the implementation of new business processes or tools.
* • Supporting integration of the climate change risks into the overall ERM landscape.
* Establish relationships with specialist Risk functions to understand significant risks and incorporatethese into the ERM assessment to identify potential impacts to organizational objectives and/orinterdependencies with other risks.
* Deliver periodic training and expertise to the organization to drive ownership, build accountabilityand/or increase awareness on the importance of ERM.

Skills and Knowledge Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, Finance or Management.
• Prior experience in the specialist risk mitigation environment (3-5 years),
• Hands-on project management experience validated by respective credentials (PMP, Prince2
and/or other equivalents).
• Knowledge of recognized risk & resiliency frameworks (ISO family, COSO etc.) and experiencewith their application in corporate environment.
• IT savvy to digitalize requirements (coding not required).
• Experience with leveraging data analytics and using automation for monitoring risks.
• Strong Leadership skills.
• Proven ability to obtain management buy-in for constructive change.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of functional linkages. Ability to interact with seniormanagement.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to motivate, influence and negotiate, withthe ability to challenge at a senior level when necessary.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
