Amazon Robotics has locations in the greater Boston and Seattle area, the epicenter of robotics innovation. Our diverse teams design, test, and build our dynamic fleet of robots, mechatronic systems and pack automation solutions in co‑located offices, labs, test floors and factories. This enables us to innovate quickly and test ideas from concept through launch, leveraging autonomous movement, AI, machine learning, manipulation, simulation, robotic‑management software, predictive analytics, and more.
Amazon Robotics Supply Chain provides strategic sourcing for a portfolio of robotic technologies and ensures delivery of new products by enabling the right suppliers and technologies, sourcing the right materials at the right cost and time to support our global fulfillment and transportation solutions. The role is fast‑paced, cross‑functional, data‑driven and collaborates with teams across Amazon and our network.
Key Job Responsibilities
Lead the cross‑functional supply‑chain team focused on supplier and supply‑chain design, sourcing, logistics decisions, and execution for robotics products from concept through scaled deployment.
Act as the single point of contact for program resources to communicate supply‑chain decisions, provide feedback on supply‑chain implications of program changes, and support financial planning and capital approvals.
Collaborate with Robotics leadership to align supply‑chain, hardware engineering, operations and program teams on commodity and supplier selection, cost‑performance trade‑offs, cost roadmap development, and rapid product‑development stages.
Define and approve product‑level supply‑chain strategy documents, identifying critical components and suppliers, product cost roadmaps to meet payback targets, capacity plans, and sourcing and tooling requirements, and develop risk‑assessment & mitigation plans.
Develop negotiation strategies with sourcing for categories impacting the product, delivering business objectives on the Operating Plan.
Manage overall supplier relationships: performance, capability development, capacity planning, contracting, risk mitigation, cost and quality improvements.
Work with technical operations, engineering, and program teams on new‑product introduction, defining standard and custom requirements and sourcing strategies that meet technical capabilities, cost, and business goals.
Create accurate mechanisms to communicate forecast and capacity requirements for sustaining and new products.
Guide the purchasing and planning teams by monitoring supplier performance and addressing supply or quality issues.
Align supplier strategies with Robotics goals for sustaining production and new product.
Develop and execute global commodity strategies that align business requirements with supplier capabilities.
Maintain monthly supplier scorecards and conduct quarterly executive business reviews.

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
Experience influencing senior leaders/stakeholders
Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
Experience directly working with engineering teams
Experience using Microsoft Office
Knowledge of basic supply agreement construction and key contracting provisions/requirements
2+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
Experience in supply‑chain, commodity, and supplier management in a global, high‑volume sourcing and operations manufacturing environment with a global supply base of contract manufacturers
2+ years of direct experience in sourcing mechanical components, including machined, stamped, plastic parts, and/or raw materials
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in online advertising or high‑tech products/services
Experience scaling a publisher monetization product or service
