Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an experienced technical manager to coach, grow, and partner with skilled Startups Solutions Architects across India. Working in collaboration with sales teams, you will drive growth and lead a team of seasoned architects who partner with early-stage to growth‐stage startups.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer engagements: cloud adoption, migration programs, and complex technical challenges with high‐stakes outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to startup founders and senior leaders, operating at a strategic level.
- Apply deep technical understanding across multiple domains to invent, evolve, and simplify solutions that drive customer success.
- Coach and develop experienced Solutions Architects to elevate technical capabilities and strategic advisory skills.
- Build a high‐performing team via hiring, onboarding, and continuous skill development.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence and customer obsession.
- Champion customer needs with senior AWS leaders and ensure customer feedback drives product improvements.
- Partner across AWS sales, investor management, specialist, and engineering teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years managing technical teams of solution architects, sales engineers, or similar roles.
- 8+ years of infrastructure, database, and networking architecture experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience architecting/operating solutions on cloud services such as Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI.
- Experience in people management and CXO‐level engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
- AWS Professional level certification.
