Marketing Director – Pharma Division
Key2people is seeking a Marketing Director on behalf of a multinational healthcare company specialized in lifesaving medical solutions for patients with chronic and acute conditions. The company combines innovation and operational excellence to deliver pharmaceutical products across hospital and retail channels, with a strong industrial footprint and a commitment to sustainability and patient care.
The Marketing Director – Pharma Division will be responsible for defining and implementing the medium-to-long-term marketing strategy for the company’s pharmaceutical portfolio. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the person collaborates closely with national and international functions to ensure the effective positioning and growth of the division.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of the division’s three-year Medium-Term Strategy across all relevant products and services.
* Work closely with the General Manager to define the annual marketing plan, sales targets, and expense budget; recommend marketing investments.
* Analyze market trends with Product Managers to identify growth opportunities and unmet needs in both the hospital and retail channels.
* Monitor competitive activity and industry dynamics to adjust strategic direction accordingly.
* Oversee procurement planning with Product Managers and approve product-level sales forecasts.
* Review and approve promotional materials prior to regulatory validation, in collaboration with the Scientific Information team.
* Coordinate and validate key promotional messages for the sales and marketing teams.
* Define and oversee training programs for the commercial organization.
* Support Product Managers in the planning and execution of events and congresses.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key Opinion Leaders.
* Supervise the launch of new molecules or repositioning of existing products.
* Collaborate with the sales team to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
* Drive the professional development of Product Managers, including job rotation and international exposure.
* Oversee corporate communication and brand positioning initiatives.
Candidate Profile
* Degree in Marketing, Communication, Economics, or equivalent (scientific backgrounds will also be considered).
* 8–10 years of experience in marketing, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
* Solid background in pharmaceutical marketing, ideally with exposure to the hospital segment.
* Proven track record in budget management and marketing data analysis.
* Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Strategic mindset with a clear focus on results and business impact.
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
* Fluent in English; international exposure is a plus.
