Our client, a leading organisation in the Major & Utilities sector, is looking for a Budget & Cost Controller with strong experience in digital and data-driven environments for a 6 months Contract Engagement. The selected candidate will support financial planning, cost monitoring, and budget management for digital initiatives, working closely with finance, PMO, and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage budgets for digital and data-related projects
* Monitor costs, forecasts, and budget vs. actuals
* Produce regular financial reports and variance analysis
* Use ServiceNow for planning, activity tracking, and workflow support
* Extract, validate, and reconcile cost data from SAP
* Support project teams with cost allocation and financial forecasting
* Serve as liaison with Finance and PMO for periodic alignment
Required Skills & Experience
* 4–5 years’ experience in Controlling, Budgeting, or Cost Monitoring
* Strong command of budget tracking, cost control, and forecasting
* Practical experience using ServiceNow for planning and workflow management
* Good working knowledge of SAP for financial data extraction
* Background in digital or data-driven environments (preferred)
* Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
