Amazon Mexico's Consumer Electronics Retail team is looking for a data driven, customer-obsessed, hands‐on and creative candidate to join our team. As a Brand Specialist, you'll own selected brands to help drive growth and help deliver a best‐in‐class customer experience on Amazon.com.mx, while facilitating great business relationships with some of Amazon's highest visibility brands.

You'll be responsible for looking after the brands' product portfolio, contributing to improvements in user experience for customers and creating detailed weekly reports on performance. You'll lead presentations and planning sessions with vendors and act as their main point of contact.

You will also provide support to drive business growth through detailed analysis of business inefficiencies and identifying solutions; proposing changes to operational processes; driving a high standard in customer satisfaction; ensuring high‐quality product detail pages; and making recommendations for effective marketing campaigns.

To achieve success in this role, you will have strong analytical and relationship management skills. You are comfortable picking up new technologies and skills quickly. You'll be a problem solver, identifying issues or opportunity areas to create plans and drive improvement.

Key responsibilities

- Manage vendor relationships by serving as the primary point of contact, helping to grow product selection, onboarding new vendors, and identifying pricing opportunities to enhance customer experience.

- Develop and implement onsite marketing strategies including improving product page data, creating merchandising plans, and helping generate traffic and sales for your assigned brands.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of business data to identify trends, issues, and growth opportunities, creating detailed weekly performance reports with actionable insights.

- Manage inventory availability by tracking purchase orders, investigating delivery delays, resolving order rejections, and working with vendors on purchase order automation.

- Research technical and operational details to understand business drivers, develop meaningful insights, and effectively represent this perspective in planning discussions.

- Online marketing: improve product page data, develop marketing and merchandising plans, improve customer experience onsite, generate traffic and sales.

- Vendor management: help grow selection of products to sell on Amazon, onboard new vendors, identify and resolve pricing issues.

- In‐stock management: track purchase orders, investigate late deliveries, resolve order rejections, work with vendors on PO automation.

A day in the life

As a Retail Vendor Manager, you'll start your day reviewing key performance metrics across your brand portfolio, identifying any immediate concerns that require attention. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with vendors on improving product listings, resolving pricing discrepancies, and tracking purchase orders.

You'll spend time analyzing sales data to identify trends, preparing for vendor meetings where you'll present performance reviews and growth strategies.

Your role involves frequent cross‐functional collaboration to enhance customer experience through improved product representation and inventory management.

Basic Qualifications

- 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience.

- Bachelor's degree.

- 1+ year of experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in process improvement.

- Experience managing large amounts of data.
