For over 60 years the company has been providing the world's best athletes and motorsports enthusiasts in the pursuit of performance excellence with the most technologically advanced products which fuse protection, performance, innovation and style.Thanks to the outstanding quality and continuous innovation of our products, we are currently going through a solid expansion phase on the global market, for which we aim to reinforce our strongly international teams with top talent from anywhere in the world.PositionThe Prototyping Technician Helmet division plays a key role in supporting the development of Alpinestars helmets by enabling fast iteration, physical validation, and real-world testing of prototypes and components.The role combines strong hands-on skills with technical awareness, ensuring high-quality prototypes and effective feedback to CAD Designers and Product Engineers.Main Responsibilities- Support helmet development through rapid prototyping activities, including 3D printing and preparation of physical samples.- Assemble helmet components and sub-systems for internal reviews, testing and validation phases.- Manage prototype parts, ensuring correct configuration, traceability and readiness for testing.- Perform basic quality checks on prototype components and assemblies.- Prepare helmets and components for road tests, internal validation and racing support activities.- Work closely with CAD Designers, Innovation/Product Engineers and Project Managers during development phases.- Contribute to continuous improvement of prototyping methods and internal workflows.- Operate and support prototyping tools and equipment (3D printers, manual tools, basic workshop equipment).- Show active interest in new prototyping technologies, materials and processes, contributing ideas for improvement.- Support scouting and evaluation of new prototyping solutions to improve speed, quality and efficiency.Required Skills and Qualifications- Technical Diploma and / or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and / or related field would be considered as a strong asset.- Strong manual skills and hands-on attitude.- Experience in product prototyping (rapid prototyping, rapid tooling, CNC).- Basic knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drawing.- Basic knowledge of materials and processes: plastics, foams, 3D mesh, composite.- Familiarity with mechanical fasteners, assemblies, vents, adjusters, and helmet-specific components.- Attention to detail, critical mindset and problem-solving attitude.- Good communication and technical reporting skills.- Team-oriented and collaborative approach.- Basic knowledge of Office tools.- Passion for motorbike's environment is a plus.- Fluent in English (Italian is a plus).Other InformationLocation – Asolo (On-site)
