Export Sales Professional
The Export Manager will be responsible for managing the sales activities for the Furniture segment in Italy and internationally. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new market opportunities and managing relationships with international clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular customer visits to build strong relationships with existing and potential international clients.
* Support the growth of our business by acquiring, prospecting, and/or developing new Clients, Agents, and/or Distributors.
* Participate in fairs and events to engage and prospect clients and stakeholders.
Sales and Business Development:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets.
* Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners.
* Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of international trade markets, logistics, and customs procedures.
Market Research and Strategy Development:
* Conduct market research to identify potential markets and customers.
* Develop and implement export strategies to increase market share in existing and new markets.
* Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Operations Management:
* Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to ensure production, lead time, and cost-effective delivery of products to international customers.
* Manage export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
Financial Management:
* Prepare and manage export budgets and forecasts.
* Negotiate payment terms and manage the collection of payments from international clients.
* Audit and manage risks associated with currency fluctuations, credit, and market volatility.
* Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability of export operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in export sales (PVC Furniture).
* Proven track record of achieving export sales targets and expanding market share.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
