To strengthen our growth, we are looking for a motivated
Analytical Scientist
to join our team in the Drug Containment Solutions Business Unit. The role acts as a key scientific reference for analytical studies related to drug-container interactions, combining strong analytical expertise with project coordination and customer-facing activities in a cross-functional environment. The new joiner will work closely with internal teams and external customers to design, coordinate and oversee characterization and stability studies, ensuring high-quality data and clear scientific communication.
The person will be based in Piombino Dese (Padova) where our HQ is located.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and customers throughout the lifecycle of analytical studies;
Design, assess and approve study plans, including characterization and stability studies;
Coordinate testing activities with R&D laboratories, ensuring timelines, quality and budget commitments;
Oversee data collection, interpretation and reporting, ensuring scientific accuracy and clarity;
Provide scientific consulting on drug-container interactions, with a focus on glass and drug containment solutions;
Support proposal preparation and collaboration with Sales and Marketing as a scientific partner. xjrgpwk
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related scientific field;
At least 5 years of experience in analytical or R&D roles within pharmaceutical, medical device or packaging industries;
Solid hands-on experience with analytical method development, validation and transfer in regulated environments;
Good knowledge of drug-container interaction studies, including Extractables & Leachable and elemental impurities;
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and cross-functional teams;
Experience in project coordination and scientific documentation;
Full proficiency in Italian and English.
