The candidate will ensure technical support providing product design for new and existing applications, ensuring optimal product suitability to customer needs.The position will report to Global Application Engineering & Drive Design Manager PT and will have an international reach.
Responsibilities
* Candidate will give technical support and develop major Power Transmission engineering projects, cooperating closely with OEM customers but also with Distribution and End Users.
* Ability to develop new custom-made products by interacting internally with R&D/Process Engineering/Quality
* Support the Pricing Office with technical evaluations of tooling, production steps, and process times required for product cost estimation
* Assists in solving technical or quality problems if linked to product and application design
* Manage customer sampling requests and oversee the sampling process.
* Promotes the Company's technical solutions among sales team and to selected key accounts to support sales network, including product training and main commercial initiatives
* Cooperate with marketing team to create and prepare training and technical material: data sheet and support to technical catalogues.
Qualifications
* Mechanical Engineer degree or similar technical graduation
* Minimum of 3 years of previous relevant business experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Second language required: English as priority
* Strong computer skills and experience with MS Office software, excellent Excel, PowerPoint and SolidWorks skills
* Self-managed, team player with a passion for team success
* Strong organization and time management skills required. Ability to manage multiple priorities and agendas simultaneously expected
* Experience in conflict resolution required and problem-solving skills
* Travel availability required
