Position Overview
Social & Digital Specialist — Location: Vimercate e Monvalle, Italy. Employment: Permanent. Hybrid schedule: 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute social media strategies that support global and regional brand plans and deliver against key marketing initiatives.
* Align campaign objectives and content execution, including lead generation activities, in partnership with the Local Digital Marketing Manager and Central Brand Teams.
* Manage organic and paid social media activity across relevant channels, incorporating user‑generated content into broader brand strategies.
* Act as a brand ambassador by engaging with audiences, responding to questions and queries, and nurturing positive brand relationships in line with tone of voice guidelines.
* Monitor brand sentiment through social listening and use insights to strengthen customer experience, support customer retention, and help acquire new customers.
* Interpret performance metrics and act on insights to optimise campaign execution and improve social media effectiveness.
* Manage social media operations through agreed technology platforms such as Social Bakers and other approved tools.
* Partner closely with customer support teams to resolve customer service issues raised through social media channels.
* Track, evaluate, and report regularly on social media interactions, campaign performance, and audience engagement.
* Monitor trends across social, digital, and mobile media, and contribute innovative ideas through regular brainstorming sessions to support business growth.
Qualifications
* Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage consumers while maintaining brand integrity.
* In‑depth knowledge of major social media platforms and hands‑on experience managing social communities in a professional or corporate environment.
* Experience executing and coordinating Facebook advertising campaigns and broader digital marketing campaigns.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and project management skills, with the ability to process data, interpret performance metrics, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
* Creativity, sound judgment, and an understanding of crisis management principles, with experience engaging influencers, agencies, and external audiences considered highly valuable.
