About the Role
As an Industrial Engineering Manager, you will drive operative excellence in the shop by standardizing and improving manufacturing processes.
You will report to the Nuclear Operations Manager and be located at our facility in Monfalcone, Italy, with a hybrid working schedule of up to 3 days on site per week.
Key Responsibilities
Assure safety, health and regulatory compliance within the group and within the work produced
Guide the implementation of clear and reliable manufacturing standards
Monitor shop execution to identify gaps compared to the standards and propose corrective actions
Drive innovation and identify improvements to existing manufacturing processes, prioritizing automation initiatives
Implement and integrate the Global Competency Model into all aspects of managing personnel
Ensure the Industrial Engineering team is equipped with appropriate processes and tools to understand, monitor and define manufacturing processes
Establish priorities and align resources to achieve business objectives
Manage direct reports in their responsibilities to achieve yearly goals
Propose investment initiatives to improve manufacturing processes
Conduct periodic performance reviews with all direct reports
Qualifications
Master Degree in Engineering
12+ years of engineering/manufacturing experience, with 5 years in leadership in a mechanical and manufacturing environment
Experience in welding, carpentry and machining manufacturing processes
Strong focus on improving manufacturing processes
Ability to drive process decisions
Ability to bring each team member to their fullest potential
Motivation to foster teamwork
Track and share lessons learned with team members
Experience managing multicultural teams
Coaching, development and succession planning skills
Fluency in Italian and English (C1 advanced level)
