Experteer Overview As Production Testing Engineer at Thales, you will shape test systems and processes to ensure reliable, maintainable testing in manufacturing. You'll work within the NAS domain to improve test coverage and automation, supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with cross‐functional teams to optimize testing strategies and enable data‐driven decisions. This role offers the chance to influence testability and digitalization across production, contributing to mission‐critical defence and aviation systems.
Retribuzione / Benefits Define industrial requirements and contribute to test means/ATE design specs
Perform, update and maintain PFMEA for testing
Support design, qualification and validation of ATE/test systems
Prepare and maintain detailed testing procedures and reports
Approve validation tests and ensure compliance with standards
Support PRR and FAI within testing scope
Train operators on ATE use and safety
Manage production handover and installation of ATE
Monitor performance of ATE and drive continuous improvement
Ensure preventive/corrective maintenance for test equipment
Maintain configuration integrity of ATE/testing systems
Generate reports and KPIs on testing performance
Contribute to test strategy development and optimization opportunities
Participate in SOW for testing activities
Engage in Change Control Board processes to assess testing impact
Provide feedback/lessons learned to enhance product testability
Support production digitalization initiatives and data integration
Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to resolve test failures
Manage Capex related to testing infrastructure and tools
Responsabilità Bachelor in Electronic Engineering (or related)
Proven experience with automated test systems in manufacturing
Knowledge of test strategies, PRR/FAI, PFMEA
Familiarity with test data analysis, KPI tracking
Understanding of configuration management and change control
Proficiency in ATE software tools (e.g., LabVIEW, TestStand)
Experience supporting digitalization in manufacturing
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience in operator training and Capex management related to test infrastructure
