We are seeking a Legal Counsel for our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and supporting the Head of Legal Services.
You will assist in handling legal matters such as legal opinions, contract drafting, and legal arguments (excluding labor law), with a global scope.
Main Activities
* Prepare legal opinions to support business units, considering company needs, legal constraints, and process timings.
* Collaborate with external legal providers on specific issues, including international legal matters.
* Evaluate legal risks to aid business decisions with appropriate solutions.
* Draft and review various contracts, including dealership, sponsorship, motorsport, consultancy, procurement, engineering, and licensing agreements worldwide.
* Support negotiations with suppliers on legal issues and ensure timely completion.
* Analyze applicable automotive regulations globally to ensure product compliance.
* Manage legal arguments by gathering information, analyzing risks, and advising on strategies.
* Provide legal support on brand protection and intellectual property cases.
* Evaluate legal service providers and monitor costs.
* Coordinate with VW Legal units for benchmarking and updates on legal structures.
* Collaborate with regional legal teams worldwide and support local legal issues.
* Assist with product liability topics.
About you
* Degree in Law; MBA or LLM is a plus.
* Over 4 years of experience in international law firms or multinational companies.
* Bar admission preferred.
* Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus.
* Effective communicator and team player.
* Precise and attentive to detail.
