We are looking for a Project Management Intern to join our advisory team as we support our partner, a major European infrastructure group. This client manages complex systems where clear processes and straightforward communication are essential. In this role, you will help us organize meeting schedules, document decisions, and keep our advisory work structured. This is a full-time, hybrid position that balances focused days working from home with collaborative in-person team days in the office.
About the role Olive Tree Consulting works with leadership teams to solve practical management issues. When companies grow, their decision-making habits often fall behind, causing projects to stall and plans to become unclear.
We help teams establish practical, repeatable habits to make working together easier. As a Project Management Intern, you will work closely with our consultants to keep our advisory engagement running reliably. This position exists to ensure that our recommendations are supported by precise documentation and that client schedules are tracked with accuracy.
What you will do
- Coordinate calendars, agendas, and scheduling for our core workshops and client review sessions.
- Attend meetings to capture detailed, accurate notes that highlight key decisions and assigned tasks.
- Organize and maintain our project team files, ensuring that documents are easy to find and retrieve.
- Support the creation of simple project tracking lists, registers, and progress reports.
- Assist our consultants in preparing clean, straightforward summaries of findings for client stakeholders.
- Help monitor action items and follow up on outstanding questions with client team members.
What we are looking for
- A structured approach to organization, with a reliable habit of keeping files and calendars updated.
- Clear, plain English writing skills, with the ability to summarize complex discussions into simple, readable notes.
- Punctuality and reliability, particularly when managing shared meeting schedules.
- A collaborative attitude, enjoying the balance of independent remote work and collaborative in-office days.
- An interest in how organizations run and how better writing can make projects easier to lead.
Helpful background
- Current study or a recent degree in business, project management, communications, or a related field.
- Familiarity with standard productivity tools like document editors, spreadsheets, and shared folders.
- Any prior experience in an office environment, student organization, or organized volunteer project.
What the role offers
- A paid position with competitive, attractive pay for an internship role.
- A hybrid working policy that lets you split your time between remote work and collaborative office days.
- Direct exposure to large-scale advisory work for a major infrastructure group.
- Mentorship from experienced advisors who value practical project management methods over corporate jargon.
- A calm work style that prioritizes quality writing and clear scheduling over frantic, last-minute routines.
About Olive Tree Consulting Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution. A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear. These are rarely personality problems; they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company's growth. We favor practical changes over large-scale, disruptive programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment. Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own.
The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow-up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
