PpJob Description /p pContingent upon Contract Award. /p pInternational SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is seeking a licensed Dentist to provide services for DOS, DOD, and contractor personnel stationed in Israel. The candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of dental conditions. The licensed Dentist will educate patients about oral hygiene, preventive care, and overall dental health. The Dentist will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of care, while meeting compliance requirements. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liConduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments. /li liDiagnose and treat dental conditions, diseases, and injuries. /li liPerform dental procedures. /li liProvide services or temporary treatment for emergency dental care such as recementing crowns, extractions, or root canals. /li liDevelop and discuss treatment plans with patients, considering their individual needs and preferences. /li liEducate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care. /li liKeep accurate and detailed patient records. /li liCollaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure quality patient care. /li liStay current with new dental techniques and advancements in the field. /li liAdhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the practice. /li liParticipate in community outreach and promotional activities to foster oral health awareness. /li liCompletes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies. /li /ul pbThis list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above. /b /p h3Qualifications /h3 h3Experience Required /h3 ul liApplicants must have passed the National Board Dental Examinations (NBDE) developed and administered by the Joint commission on National Dental Examinations (JCNDE) or equivalent. /li liPossess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, a territory of the United States or country of record to provide care within scope of practice. /li li3-5 years of general dentistry experience is required including 6 months within the last year. /li liProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). /li liExperience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred. /li liExperience working OCONUS preferred. /li liCurrent American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent. /li /ul h3Education Required /h3 ul liApplicants must have a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a school approved by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, or country of record equivalent at the time the degree was obtained. /li /ul h3Physical Requirements /h3 ul liMust meet pre-deployment physical requirements. /li liWork involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. /li liMay require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs. /li /ul h3Other Special Qualifications /h3 ul liValid Passport from country of record with at least 18 months before expiration date. Must maintain a current passport during your stay in Israel. /li liAbility to obtain and maintain a required security clearance. Applicants with current clearances are preferred. /li liMust be able to relocate to Israel for the duration of the project. /li liMust be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate. /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 pPay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
