GRS Recruitment are working in partnership with a growing payment brand in Limassol, and we are seeking a dynamic B2B Business Development Manager to drive merchant acquisition and strategic growth for crypto payment solutions. The role focuses on expanding the company’s presence in European and Global Markets, targeting high and low-risk merchants and building strong relationships with new and existing merchant clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing market strategies, managing merchant relationships, and representing the company within the fintech ecosystem. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Market Expansion & Strategy
1. Lead market entry and growth strategies for crypto payment solutions in European and the rest of the World markets.
2. Identify and target High/low-risk merchants suitable for crypto payment adoption.
3. Develop innovative go-to-market strategies to increase brand visibility and product adoption.
Merchant Acquisition
4. Drive merchant acquisition through:
5. Direct sales and outreach
6. Cold calling and email campaigns
7. Personal networks and referrals
8. Industry events and conferences
9. Strategic partnerships
10. Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure long-term collaboration.
Partner Development
11. Direct sales driven, but:
12. Also able to identify and manage strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders for referral partnerships
Product Integration & Onboarding
13. Support merchants through the integration process, including:
14. Hosted payment pages
15. SaaS white label solution (Payment Gateway)
16. POS payment solutions
17. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation
Compliance & Merchant Onboarding
18. Collect merchant KYC documentation.
19. Liaise closely with internal compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
Market Representation
20. Represent the company at international fintech events and conferences.
21. Build strong relationships within the fintech, payments, and crypto ecosystem.
Market Leadership
22. Act as a key point of contact for merchants, partners, and affiliates.
23. Provide insights on market trends
24. Be the face of the brand
CANDIDATE PROFILE
25. Proven experience in Sales or Business Development within Payments, FX, Forex, or Crypto sectors.
26. Strong understanding of payment solutions and financial services industry.
27. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
28. Proactive, results-driven, and able to work autonomously.
29. Knowledge of CRM tools and sales pipelines.
30. Fluent English language skills; additional languages are a plus.
COMPANY BENEFITS
31. Solid experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (B2B)
32. Strong account management and ability to use CRM for lead generation, follow-up, and closing.
33. Experience in fintech, payments, or cryptocurrency is highly desirable.
34. Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
35. Proven ability to acquire and manage merchant relationships.
36. Ability to work independently and drive growth in new markets
37. Ability to travel globally to expos/events
38. Experience with Forex/iGaming/Gambling/Prop Trading markets
Preferred Skills
39. Knowledge of crypto payment solutions and payment gateways.
40. Experience working with merchants, PSPs, or fintech platforms.
41. Existing network within Cyprus or international high/low risk markets.
42. Familiarity with merchant onboarding, KYC, and compliance processes.
