About the Role
This is not your average software engineering role.
You'll be hands-on, making a major impact on the next generation of the Cookie ecosystem—a data-rich, all-in-one financial platform used by thousands of creators and the internal teams that serve them.
You'll design, build, and scale full-stack features across our backend and React frontend, and this role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and operations.
You'll work closely with the CTO, Product, QA, and Operations to ship production code that directly impacts our customers—and you'll have real influence over the technical decisions that shape our long-term architecture.

What You'll Own
Design, build, and scale full-stack features across our backend and React frontend using TypeScript
Architect scalable systems that support financial data workflows, ledger logic, integrations, and analytics at growing volume
Own features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, and production release
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code, including unit and integration tests that protect critical workflows
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, and non-technical teams to translate complex financial requirements into intuitive software
Contribute to technical direction and standards, participating in code reviews, improving CI/CD processes, and strengthening engineering best practices
What We're Looking For
5+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably in high-growth SaaS or startup environments
Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems, preferably Node and React
Proficiency with relational databases such as Postgres and ORMs like Prisma
Experience incorporating AI tools (Claude, Codex) into your development process
Experience building scalable APIs and integrating with third-party services
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing best practices, and production deployment workflows
Systems-thinking mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-moving environment
A collaborative default—we're a small team navigating the usual startup complexity; proactively checking work with others and surfacing problems early are expected
