PThe ideal candidate will be responsible for making formulation trials, measuring physic-chemical parameters, and for developing cosmetic products at laboratory scale, answering customer briefs (internal and external) and respecting lead-times costs. /ppReporting to the RD Powders Manager the job holder will be accountable for: /ppbr/ppMain Tasks and Responsibilities: /pulliTo develop new formulas (all galenics, textures and shades) and to participate in improvement of existing range of products: to make new lab trials, to make substitution lab trials to improve standard portfolio; /liliTo perform color matching trials /liliTo accurately perform each step of an established protocol /liliTo execute under supervision development of formulation trials during development phase /liliTo communicate with Raw Materials suppliers for any samples and data requests to ensure availability of raw materials to perform development trials. /liliUnder supervision, to evaluate and characterize quality of the products: sensory analysis, physic-chemical analysis (pH, viscosity, density, rheology...); /liliUnder supervision to set up and to prepare stability tests to perform; /liliTo record data by using efficiently IT tools to ensure traceability accuracy of all lab trials (formulas, process, comments, stability, raw materials data ...) /liliTo respect lead times of development planning /li /ulpbr/ppSkills required /pulliBachelor or master’s degree in a scientific discipline; different or a lower level of education will be evaluated according to a real and proven working experience in a similar role /lili3-5 years of experience in formulation and/or color matching in a cosmetic company; /liliKnowledge of English will be a preferential requisite /liliIT knowledge: good knowledge of the Office package and IT tools expertise /liliTechnical expertise (texture development, color development, physic-chemical analysis, stability, sensory analysis…) /liliKnowledge of standard Lab equipment and GMP rules /liliAbility to communicate at all levels both internally and externally /liliEffective workload planning, respect of deadlines, ability to manage stress in a very dynamic environment, adaptability /liliResult oriented /liliAttention to details /liliAbility to network and build relations /liliSelf-motivation and great sense of responsibility and confidentiality /liliPersonal ethics, tact and diplomacy /li /ul
