We're looking for a motivated **Propulsion Intern** to support our engineering efforts on cutting-edge propulsion systems. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience acquired for example in a student technical team (e.g., Team Studenteschi, rocketry, etc.) and programming skills. Whether you're currently completing a Master's degree or recently graduated, if you're passionate about space propulsion and ready to work hands-on with cutting-edge propulsion technology, we want to hear from you. **Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the research and development of propulsion systems.
- Assist on system-level integration, including fluid flow, thermal management, and structural interfaces.
- Assist with data acquisition, test stand setup, and analysis of experimental results.
- Write tools/scripts to automate design or analysis tasks (Python, MATLAB, C++, etc.).
- Help document engineering work clearly and thoroughly. **Requirements**: - Master's degree (completed or in progress) in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in a student engineering team related to propulsion or vehicle systems.
- Strong grasp of propulsion fundamentals (fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, combustion).
- Programming familiarity (Python preferred; MATLAB/C++ is a premio).
- Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and engineering analysis software.
- Basic understanding of piping and instrumentation diagram. **Nice to have**
- Experience with propulsion system testing (cold-flow, hot-fire).
- Background in embedded systems, control, or electronics.
- Familiarity with engine cycle analysis, turbomachinery, or cryogenic systems. **What You'll Gain**
