Financial Controller based in Segrate (Milan), Italy
Istituto delle Vitamine S.p.A. is a market leader in nutrition, producing and selling vitamins, eubiotics, enzymes, microelements, and other nutritional ingredients for the zootechnical, food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries.
The Financial Controller has overall responsibility for coordinating, monitoring, reporting, and analyzing the legal entity’s financial statements. This role involves implementing and supervising structured interactions with stakeholders such as BU account managers, financial control teams, Shared Services, and auditors.

* Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and execute finance actuals, closing, and reporting activities for assigned units to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
* Ensure compliance with dsm-firmenich accounting standards, international, and local statutory regulations to maintain integrity of financial reports.
* Monitor the Balance Sheet, conduct variance analysis, and resolve open items to ensure financial stability.
* Review sub-ledgers, reconcile balances, and resolve discrepancies.
* Lead the financial closing process, conduct pre-close meetings, define mitigation actions, and drive improvements to meet deadlines.
* Manage accounts payable/receivable, assets, and general ledger processes.
* Prepare annual financial statements, including statutory and fiscal requirements such as VAT, withholding tax, and budgeting.
* Coordinate billing processes and liaise with fiscal authorities, auditors, and legal advisors.

You bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance.
* At least 2 years of experience in multinational companies, focusing on international finance and budgeting.
* Strong knowledge of statutory law.
* Proficiency in SAP; familiarity with Zucchetti ERP is a plus.
* Curious, sharp, and open-minded attitude.
* Fluency in English and Italian.
