brWe are currently looking for a Product Development RD Specialist.
brThe resource will join the Product Development Department, reporting to the Product Development Operations and RD Manager. The role is responsible for conducting research, developing new techniques or finding materials to meet market demands and business goals. This includes Pure Research (free supplier and material scouting) and Applied Research (brief-driven) across application areas: Design, develop, and test new materials, processes, or technologies.
brCreate and test prototypes using 3D software and other modeling tools.
brCollaborate with departments such as creativity, engineering and marketing to align RD efforts with business objectives.
brEnsure all RD activities comply with relevant and internal regulations and ethical standards.
brManage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
brConduct in-depth research to identify market trends, emerging technologies, new materials and innovation opportunities.
brResearch new suppliers offering innovative and sustainable materials.
brTesting Analysis: Laboratory testing (physical, chemical, waterproofing, durability, resistance) supported by internal lab.
brData Management and Physical Storage: Archiving all physical samples in dedicated storage and digitally managing related data, certificates, and test results through DAM (Digital Asset Management) platform.

brMaterials handled: approximately an archive of 30 materials.
brMaster’s degree in Materials Engineering, or similar
brAt least a couple of years of working experience
brDetail oriented with strong organizational skills
brAbility to work with 3D design software and Office programs
