KNAPP Italia is looking for a Resident Team Leader
Become part of our resident team at the main logistics centre of a world‑wide leader in the field of eye wear located in Sedico (BL). Your role is to guarantee the availability of our customer’s plant and thereby ensure customer satisfaction. You achieve this goal by providing and coordinating a good mix of reactive maintenance and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks. All team members are part of a continuous improvement process. To ensure site availability, technicians work alternating shifts, typically including one night shift per month.
Roles and responsibilities
* Coordinate the activities of your team of electromechanical technicians and any external companies in charge of carrying out repairs.
* Provide assistance in the maintenance activities of installed systems.
* Ensure that all spare‑part issues are addressed quickly and efficiently.
* Document every activity of the technical team on the CMMS.
* Respond to the customer effectively and efficiently according to the "right first time" approach together with your technicians.
* Participate in periodic meetings with the customer and other team leaders.
* Provide maintenance support in the event of an emergency due to breakdown or other problems with installed systems.
* Actively participate with the customer in issue management and the internal escalation process for all aspects related to maintenance.
* Guarantee an optimal level of performance by checking on‑site maintenance activities, response speed and repair quality, as well as the standards of work execution.
Requirements for applicants
* Technical diploma in electrics, electronic engineering, mechanics, mechanical engineering, IT or automation.
* Experience in routine maintenance of systems and appliances, and in managing and maintaining robotic and automation systems.
* Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical diagrams.
* Knowledge of the pneumatic/hydraulic field and sensor technology in industrial automation.
* Diagnostic skill for mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults and confidence to perform necessary interventions.
* Experience installing and commissioning mechatronic components and systems.
* Strong inclination to optimise systems, machines and plants using automated control tools.
* Experience with CMMS is ideal.
* Understanding of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and its performance metrics.
* Previous experience managing a team and the ability to work under pressure. Ability to motivate and encourage your team by promoting a healthy and collaborative environment.
* Proficiency in Italian and English.
