About the Role
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will join our international R&D team and contribute to the development of embedded software for microwave and networking transport systems. You will gain hands-on experience in Embedded Linux development while being mentored by senior engineers, collaborating across software, hardware, FPGA, and microwave domains.
Responsibilities
Develop and test embedded software running on Embedded Linux.
Implement software modules and features in C.
Support firmware bring-up and validation on target hardware platforms.
Assist in debugging issues involving software, Linux OS, and hardware interactions.
Contribute to networking-related software components (TCP/IP, socket programming).
Participate in Agile development activities (daily meetings, sprint planning, reviews).
Use Git for version control and collaborate through code reviews.
Contribute to documentation and testing activities.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
0–2 years of experience (internships, thesis projects, or relevant academic projects considered valid experience).
Good programming skills in C.
Basic understanding of:
Embedded systems fundamentals.
Linux operating systems.
Processes, threads, and memory management.
TCP/IP networking basics.
Familiarity with the Linux command line environment.
Exposure to Git version control.
Professional English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with build systems (Makefile or CMake).
Basic debugging experience using gdb.
Academic or personal projects involving embedded platforms.
Familiarity with hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C).
Basic multi-threaded programming.
Scripting knowledge (Bash or Python).
Familiarity with networking analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
