Join our team and help us build a stronger, safer, better world. Job Responsibilities Manage the month-end closing accounting process according to Bakelite’s schedules and requirements. Ensure compliance with Bakelite’s Accounting Policies & Procedures. Prepare journal entries, ensuring accruals are properly recorded and analyzed. Handle global responsibilities for Cash Accounting, GRIR, Leases, Cost Allocations, and Intercompany transactions. Review and monitor accounting processes. Prepare and review account reconciliations. Develop supporting schedules to facilitate reporting. Analyze accounts and variances across legal entities, explain deviations, and provide summarized monthly reports. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for specific processes within Bakelite. Participate in projects to implement new accounting policies and processes. Coordinate documentation for internal and external audits, including annual accounts, tax, and transfer pricing audits. Collaborate closely with stakeholders such as Regional Controllers, Treasury, and IT.
