Job Purpose
6 months internship supporting Tire Models, Vehicle/DiL Simulations group.
The Candidate will be part of the R&D Digital Engineering – Virtual Tire Development Team, focusing her/his activities on:
1. Supporting the implementation on hard real-time machines of in-house tools devoted to the automatic execution of vehicle simulations.
2. Implementing tools and methodologies to facilitate, enhance and automate the generation and management of parametric vehicle models based on actual data (e.g. K&C, Masses, inertias, etc.) in VI-CRT environment.
3. Supporting the automated management of co-simulation environments VI-CRT / Matlab-Simulink to run complex subsystems
4. Supporting the optimization of innovative and advanced methodologies to manage numerical tire models for vehicle simulations (MF-Tyre, MF-SWIFT, FTire, CDTire, etc.).
5. Contributing to the deployment of vehicle and driving simulation solutions, to support virtual tire development and objective / subjective virtual assessment.
Job requirements
6. Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering.
7. Goal-oriented, motivated, creative and collaborative. Able to work within teams with strong communications skills.
8. Fluency in written and spoken English.
9. Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink.
