Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and goal-oriented Industrialization Engineer to join the Engineering Business Unit of Stevanato Group in Piombino Dese (PD)
From Design phase (PDP) and through the manufacturing life of equipment, they develop and provide relevant tools, recommendation and information to supply, manufacture, test and install the product at the right safety, quality, cost and LT levels.
The successful candidates:
1. develop and provide relevant tools, recommendation and information to supply, manufacture, test and install the product at the right safety, quality, cost and LT levels.
2. support production to ensure achievement of customer project targets and implementation of preventive actions.
3. optimize assets utilization in all plants, scout and select new manufacturing technologies to secure internal manufacturing efficiency.
4. Drive processes alignment and support transversal program on modular test & virtual commissioning and make or buy.
Tasks and activities:
5. Create the STD work, working instruction, SOP and master routing based on the configuration map.
6. Design tools and jigs needed to assemble, manufacture and test components to commit in quality, cost and LT requirements
7. Participate to the design review with ETO and sourcing teams.
8. Participate to the qualification of the module on the manufacturing activities.
9. Participate to the continuous improvement of all production activities, applying lean and Six Sigma principles.
10. Organize the validation of the Standard Operation Procedure for the installation.
11. Support production team to ensure the achievement of customer project target.
12. Propose corrective and preventive action in coordination with production.
13. Define the master production data (Routing, sequence, hours ….)
14. Support of the analysis of the manpower hours on all activities per deals
15. Identify and foster best practices with other sites manufacturing similar equipment.
16. Apply Lean & Six Sigma best practice to analyze data, investigate root cause for production processes variability, plan and execute actions involving inter-functional teams.
17. Lead year over year cycle time reductions
18. Support the product cost monitoring indicating, and where necessary, leading the cost improvement actions.
Qualifications
19. Master’s degree in engineering (Electric/Mechatronic Engineering preferred)
20. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
21. Fluent English, written and spoken.
22. Mechanical and Electrical skills / knowledge
23. Knowledge of and experience with WCOM, Lean tools and Six Sigma methodology
24. Ability to work autonomously as well as in cross-functional and international teams.
25. Leadership and communication skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and with all functions.
26. Proactive, strong problem solving/analytical attitude.
