A central part of the unit’s mandate is to foster innovation and digital transformation, exploring and coordinating initiatives related to advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, blockchain use cases, automation, and the broader modernization of processes, tools, and ways of working.
We are seeking a forward‑thinking, structured, and execution‑driven professional to join the COO Office & Strategy team. The role sits at the intersection of strategy execution, innovation, and digital transformation, supporting the COO in shaping the operating model of Generali Investments and accelerating strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with hands‑on program management, excellent stakeholder engagement, and a genuine passion for emerging technologies, AI‑driven innovation, and digital transformation initiatives.
You will gain exposure to several international asset management companies in Europe and US, managing cross‑functional projects, as well as exposure to strategic initiatives of the operations team.
Requirements
Education: Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Innovation Management, Data/AI, or related fields
Experience: 2–5+ years in Strategy, PMO, Management Consulting, Innovation roles, Digital Transformation programs, or similar functions within financial services or technology
Passionate about AI‑related projects, emerging technologies, digital transformation
Program & stakeholder management: Proven ability to structure and execute multi‑stakeholder programs involving both business and technical contributors
Analytical mindset: Strong capability to synthesize data and insights into clear recommendations
Work authorization: Eligible to work in Italy

Strategic thinking with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
Program and project management expertise, including multi‑stakeholder coordination
Strong knowledge or curiosity toward AI, generative AI, data/analytics, automation, and blockchain concepts
Innovation mindset, familiar with innovation methodologies (design thinking, POCs, pilot frameworks)
