This is a rare opportunity to shape how a growing European renewable energy portfolio actually runs.
Not day-to-day plant management. Not reactive firefighting. This is a strategic, cross-functional role sitting above the operational layer, defining the standards, frameworks, and improvement programmes that determine whether a multi‑asset portfolio performs, scales, and stays commercially sharp.
The role
You’ll work transversally across Operations, Asset Management and O&M; across multiple European markets, driving continuous improvement in asset performance, cost efficiency and operational scalability.
A significant part of this role is contract‑focused and that’s deliberate. You’ll lead the optimisation of the full operational contract stack: O&M; LTSAs, security services, SCADA/communications agreements. You’ll own the RFP process end‑to‑end, define owner’s requirements, set contractual KPIs, benchmark costs, and negotiate with major service providers. If contracts aren’t performing, you’ll be the one who fixes them.
Beyond contracts, you’ll connect the dots between what happens in the field and what gets built into the next project. Lessons learned don’t stay buried here, they feed directly into engineering guidelines, EPC standards, and component selection.
What you’ll be doing

- Leading operational contract optimisation across O&M;, security, and SCADA — including RFPs, KPI frameworks, and contractor consolidation
- Overseeing portfolio‑wide performance monitoring and driving corrective action with O&M; and E&C; teams
- Translating field experience into engineering improvements for new‑build projects
- Identifying and delivering OpEx reductions across the portfolio
- Standardising operational processes, tools and reporting across countries
- Acting as the central coordination point between Operations, E
