Assistant Store Manager - Bologna
Dr. Martens plc is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Bologna. As the driver of day‑to‑day store operations, you will support the Store Manager in delivering retail excellence while fostering a positive, inclusive environment that reflects the brand’s core values: "BE YOURSELF", "ACT COURAGEOUSLY" and "SHOW YOU CARE".
Role Responsibilities
* Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations: staffing, visual merchandising, inventory management, receiving, administration, banking, and housekeeping.
* Drive sales performance by providing outstanding customer service and striving to exceed the team’s KPI targets.
* Train, develop, and empower the team to achieve key metrics such as sales turnover, inventory accuracy, and mystery‑shopping scores.
* Maintain a safe, healthy, and positive work environment, including adherence to health and safety procedures.
* Assume full responsibility for the store in the Store Manager’s absence.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager in a fashion retail setting.
* Strong brand ambassador who embodies Dr. Martens values and inspires others.
* Passion for Dr. Martens footwear, enthusiasm for sharing that excitement with customers.
* Excellent listening skills and strong analytical and relational abilities.
* Proven people‑management expertise.
* Professional yet authentic approach, fearless in decision‑making.
* Good command of English, to be tested during the interview.
